This mural was commissioned by the City of San Marcos in pursuit of honoring and paying tribute to both local and national veterans who have served in the American Armed Forces.
This mural was commissioned by the City of San Marcos in pursuit of honoring and paying tribute to both local and national veterans who have served in the American Armed Forces.
We felt it was a very strong and honorable message to include the names of the fallen or M.I.A. service men and women of Hays County within the first section of the mural. The imagery behind the names is a battlefield cross and paratroopers landing.

A major goal of this project was to connect with citizens of the city. Encouraging students, families, and veterans to come out and paint with us to have a hand in the creation of a local tribute.
